How to play

  1. Slide the board in one direction. Equal adjacent numbers merge once per move.
  2. A valid move adds a new 2 or 4 tile. A move that changes nothing adds no tile.
  3. Reach 2048 to win. The round ends if the board fills with no legal merge.

Make your move

  • Touch: swipe on the board or use the four direction buttons.
  • Keyboard: use the arrow keys.
  • Standard gamepad: D-pad or left stick slides the board. Start pauses.

A small head start

  • Try to keep your largest tile in a corner.
  • Build a descending row beside that corner.
  • Leave space for new tiles; a crowded board limits your options.

Compatibility notes

Touch and keyboard controls are implemented. Physical phones, controllers and Tesla browsers await device testing.
