BananaBread

Load a classic Cube 2 first-person shooter into a browser through WebAssembly and WebGL, with bots and a rendered 3D arena. It runs on an external host; gameplay and terms follow that page.

Opens on: BananaBread WebAssembly FPS demo. New tab; host requirements apply.

How to play

  1. Explore the arena, aim with the mouse and fight through the demo's free-for-all match against bots.
  2. A browser port and technical demo of the Cube 2/Sauerbraten engine with a 3D arena and bot opponents. Code and artwork use separate open licenses; this older build is not actively maintained and is desktop-oriented.
  3. Use the external host's game menu for detailed rules and any restart or save options.

Make your move

  • Keyboard and mouse: the demo uses first-person movement and mouse aiming; open the game's menu for key bindings. It requires WebAssembly and WebGL, and its 640×480 canvas does not fit a phone viewport.
  • Check the host's Help or Controls guide for every key and touch action.
  • Denny Games has not verified a complete external game session or device compatibility.

A small head start

  • Allow the first WebAssembly download to finish, then use the in-game menu to review controls and adjust options.
  • Read the host's controls and rules before starting a longer run.

Compatibility notes

The older project README, which says the project is no longer under active development, links to this WebAssembly demo. Chromium loaded a 640×480 first-person arena after about 18 seconds and roughly 14.8 MB of resource transfers. At 390×844 the document measured 986 CSS px wide while the canvas stayed 640×480; the demo is desktop-oriented and advertises no touch controls. No full combat run or physical-device behavior was tested.

Denny Games has not verified this external build's gameplay, browser compatibility, controls or save behavior. Check the host's current requirements.

Play style: Check host controls. This game runs on an independent host or browser build. Denny Games does not manage its account, session or saves; see the notes above for how this build handles them.
