Sandspiel

Draw materials such as sand, water, plants, fire and lava into a living pixel canvas. Sandspiel is an MIT-licensed Rust/WebAssembly and WebGL sandbox that runs on the developer's own site and supports touch play.

Opens on: Sandspiel official browser game. New tab; host requirements apply.

How to play

  1. Pick a material and paint or drag across the canvas to place it.
  2. Combine elements and observe how they move and react in the cellular simulation.
  3. There is no score or final level. Sharing and community features belong to the external host.

Make your move

  • Touch: tap or drag on the canvas to place the selected material.
  • Mouse: click or drag to paint; choose another material from the toolbar.
  • The official game opens in a new tab. Denny Games has not verified saved creations or physical-device support.

A small head start

  • Begin with sand, water and a plant to see how different materials move.
  • Add fire or lava in a small area and watch the simulation spread each reaction.
  • Review the host's sharing and privacy details before posting a creation.

Compatibility notes

Sandspiel's official host runs its Rust/WebAssembly and WebGL game and provides a community for sharing creations. The MIT-licensed source is linked separately; the host's privacy, sharing and any account behavior remain its own. Denny Games has not verified saved creations or device compatibility.

Denny Games has not verified this external build's gameplay, browser compatibility, controls or save behavior. Check the host's current requirements.

Play style: Point and move. This game runs on an independent host or browser build. Denny Games does not manage its account, session or saves; see the notes above for how this build handles them.
