Bitburner

Grow a cyberpunk hacker from small jobs into a network of automated scripts, upgrades and increasingly ambitious in-game intrusions. It runs on an external host; gameplay and terms follow that page.

Opens on: Official Bitburner browser release. New tab; host requirements apply.

How to play

  1. Earn money and experience by hacking fictional servers, improve your stats and tools, and automate repeat work with scripts.
  2. A free cyberpunk incremental RPG with an official browser release. Its Apache-2.0 license includes a Commons Clause commercial restriction, so its source code is not treated as open source here.
  3. Use the external host's game menu for detailed rules and any restart or save options.

Make your move

  • Use the in-game terminal, editor and menus with a keyboard and mouse. Read the tutorial before entering commands; this is a programming-focused desktop experience.
  • Check the host's Help or Controls guide for every key and touch action.
  • Denny Games has not verified a complete external game session or device compatibility.

A small head start

  • Work through the built-in tutorial before experimenting with scripts in the terminal.
  • Read the host's controls and rules before starting a longer run.

Compatibility notes

The official single-player release opened its tutorial without a sign-in or payment prompt; no chat appeared in the tested screen. At a 390px phone viewport the page expands to 980 CSS pixels and needs horizontal movement. Save persistence, script execution and full gameplay were not tested.

Denny Games has not verified this external build's gameplay, browser compatibility, controls or save behavior. Check the host's current requirements.

Play style: Check host controls. This game runs on an independent host or browser build. Denny Games does not manage its account, session or saves; see the notes above for how this build handles them.
