How to play

1. Explore the dungeon, gather equipment and supplies, and search for the Amulet of Yendor.
2. Every move and action advances the turn-based world. Enemies, hunger and limited resources make each choice matter.
3. A character's run can end permanently. The linked NAO server stores its own game sessions and follows its own account and save rules.

Make your move

• Keyboard: use the NAO web terminal's current key guide and in-game help; NetHack has many commands.
• This is remote play on a community server. Denny Games does not receive your account credentials or store the game session.

A small head start

• Read the terminal's key reference and message line before trying unfamiliar commands.
• Check food, health and equipment regularly; a small mistake can cost a run.
• Learn the server's save and session rules before leaving a character unattended.
